Hello, I am Ana
I work as a project manager. I am a parent. An expatriate living in Lisbon, Portugal.
Several years ago, I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually blossomed into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to Portugal wasn’t part of the long-term plan. Like many expat relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far bigger.
The first months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, fresh expectations. Everyday tasks felt more complicated than intended.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, uncertainty, and a lot of learning by doing. But gradually, routines took shape. We found places that worked for us, connected with other families, and began building something that felt stable.
Why I Built Clever Meadow Path
Most information online was either corporate relocation advice or surface-level tourism material. What was missing was an honest, day-to-day family perspective.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical guidance drawn from real life in Portugal.
What This Website Represents (And What It Doesn’t)
This site OFFERS:
- Practical know-how from living in Portugal
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated when real changes occur
This site ISN'T:
- An official tourism authority resource
- A platform for sponsored reviews
- A generic travel blog
Looking Forward
Our stay in Portugal goes on, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I’ll keep recording what we find.
If you have questions about family life in Lisbon or anywhere in Portugal, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Ana
